Important new developments for VisMederi Life Sciences. One of the exclusive tests promoted, related to the evaluation of the anti-SARS-CoV-2 activity of appropriately treated fabrics and surfaces, has now also obtained Accredia accreditation, according to ISO 17025 standard. “The accreditation – VisMederi Life Sciences laboratory chief Claudia Modenese says – is the attestation of a super partes guarantor body, which certifies compliance with the highest quality standards and therefore maximum competence and reliability in carrying out the test”.
“After the visit of the inspectors who carried out the required checks – Modenese adds – in recent days there has been confirmation that Vismederi Life Sciences has obtained the accreditation. It is a result that rewards the work of our laboratories, already among the very few in the world to be able to carry out this type of test with SARS-CoV-2, even adding greater prestige to the services promoted by Vismederi Life Sciences. Our company becomes the first European company to get ISO 21702:2019 standard accreditation using SARS-CoV-2”.
To introduce this unique Italian experience, VisMederi Life Sciences also joined Exposanità, the prestigious showcase in Bologna. The company, together with Biomedical Pharma and Lg Holding, held a workshop about the effectiveness of photoactive treatments. CEO Duccio Meiattini and Sales Director Serena Leoni were present in Bologna on behalf of VisMederi Life Sciences. “The most important aspect of our test consists in the use of SARS-CoV-2 of human origin and its variants – Leoni explains – it is allowed to very few companies and laboratories in the world. This guarantees reliability and the uniqueness of our results”.
