The VisMederi Foundation demonstrates its commitment to the most vulnerable groups, strengthening its ties with the Siena territory and actively supporting projects for social solidarity.
The Foundation proudly presented a contribution certificate to the associations Piccolo Principe and Danilo Nannini Foundation, recognizing the valuable work carried out by both organizations for the benefit of the community.
The certificate awarded to the Danilo Nannini Foundation represents an essential contribution to the realization of the “Casa Accoglienza Mamme” project. This ambitious project provides a familiar and serene environment with 13 beds distributed among six double rooms and one single room, all with private bathrooms. It is intended for mothers of prematurely born children or children with serious pathologies who are admitted to the A.O.U.S. Le Scotte in Siena, specifically in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (T.I.N.) and the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (T.I.P.).
The VisMederi Foundation has also provided support to the Piccolo Principe association, contributing to the implementation of the “T.M.A.” therapy (multi-systemic therapy in water for autism). This innovative therapy, which uses water as an emotional, sensory, and motor activator, has shown a positive impact on communication, relationships, and development in children with autism spectrum disorders and pervasive developmental disorders. Thanks to the Foundation’s support, thirteen children participating in this project have received dedicated assistance, each accompanied by a specialized operator.
Margherita Turillazzi, the general manager of the VisMederi Foundation, expressed great satisfaction with the role played by the Foundation in promoting well-being and support for the most vulnerable groups: “Our Foundation, in line with the values of solidarity and social responsibility that have guided us since its inception, is proud to support significant projects like Casa Accoglienza Mamme and the multi-systemic therapy in water for autism. We believe that our commitment to social welfare is a duty, and we are grateful to all those who have made these initiatives possible.”
Closely linked to the Siena territory, the VisMederi Foundation is a non-profit organization that aims to improve the overall health conditions of humanity through the promotion and support of scientific research and the production of new vaccines, particularly benefiting disadvantaged populations and countries. Besides pursuing its primary mission, the Foundation is dedicated to being a reference point and active support for the most vulnerable groups within the local community.
The certificate award ceremony was presided over by the general manager Margherita Turillazzi and Veronica Cannucci, responsible for the administrative management of the Foundation, confirming the importance and seriousness of the VisMederi Foundation’s commitment to the social field.
