As usual, VisMederi will be present this year too at the World Vaccine Congress, the leading event in Europe in the field of vaccines, now at its 17th edition, to be held in Barcelona October 10 to 12, 2016.
The Congress will discuss the ongoing works in the vaccine field, with special attention on the field of immunotherapy and vaccination against influenza, of the latest available technology and of the application of clinical and pre-clinical validation studies on the development of vaccine types that can provide longer-lasting, comprehensive and effective coverage.
Emanuele Montomoli, CSO of VisMederi and Professor of Public Health at the University of Siena, will talk about correlates of protection applied to the vaccine against influenza and about the usefulness of identifying them through clinical trials in order to determine the effectiveness of the vaccine according to its immunogenicity.
