VisMederi Textyle, the VisMederi group company dealing with Quality Control on textile materials, becomes the reference centre for the international non-profit association Peta “People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals”. “Our task – CEO Giovanni Micheli says – is to organize checks that certify, through a PCR test, the absence of substances of animal origin on textile products coming from the hundreds of companies affiliated with Peta throughout the world, in order to ensure effective compliance for the maintenance of the “Peta-approved vegan” logo.
VisMederi Textyle, in collaboration with the VisMederi group and the Centro Controllo Tessile (Centre for Textile Control) of Prato, has in fact further increased the peculiarity of its offer and its sustainability policies, suggesting, among other technologies that have always been part of the group’s know-how, a special type of PCR (Polymerase Chain Reaction) analysis, specifically designed to check the presence of fibre of animal origin, even after various product transformation processes”.
